Blogging, Debt Repayment, In the Kitchen

great blog posts

My former roommate and very good friend Rachel started a blog this week. It’s called An Ex-Baptist Girl in a LDS World. She wrote a heartfelt post about being a grade school dropout and I think you should all go and read it. I’m very proud of her for sharing her story and so excited that she has taken up blogging!

Katie at A Touch of Teal posted an amazing gift guide for gifts under $25. If we’re friends in real life, don’t click this link. There’s a good chance your Christmas gift is in there.

I’m reading this book, After You. It’s so good. It’s the sequel to Me Before You, which was incredible. If you’re looking for a weekend read, you should definitely check it out!

As the holidays approach, this trick on how to pack 3 weeks worth of clothes into a carry on is KEY. Before I moved to the Seattle area I always flew Southwest. Now, Alaska is usually cheaper and I recently discovered the amazingness of Virgin America. You know what’s not amazing about those airlines? Checked bag fees. (Let’s not get into my feelings on airline fees right now.) I can’t figure out how to pack more than three DAYS into a carry-on so this will be so helpful for my next trip!

It’s the weekend. You know what the weekend needs? Pizza. Check out these homemade pizza recipes! With 25 of them you’re bound to find something you like!

It’s always nice to find gifts that are under $25, especially when you have a lot of people to buy for or are just low on funds. Great ideas.
