A good blogging friend of mine, Ashley, just finished her e-book called Discovering Your Style in 7 Days or Less! Over the summer of last year, Ashley wrote a guest post on my old blog about summer-time footwear. People LOVED it and I still get hits to this day. It’s a pretty exciting moment for me to see a friend follow through with a goal that makes you feel as vulnerable as writing a book does. When she requested people to check it out for her on Twitter, I immediately jumped on board.
Discovering Your Style is written for those of us who need just a little bit of direction or maybe a LOT of help discovering our style. The book really satisfies my Type-A personality because it is well organized, gives great direction, AND comes with a checklist to mark off when you complete the assignments. Her book is perfect for anyone looking who is looking to Discover Your Style!
Her e-book lays out the different style considerations for different body types (complete with drawings), and gives tips on how to chose the most flattering fit for you. Here’s a peek at the Table of Contents so you get an idea of the awesome knowledge you’ll find inside her book.
I’ve been looking at my closet lately, feeling like I have nothing to wear. I had decided it’s time to start selling some of it (even items with the tags still attached!). Discovering Your Style is full of great suggestions like how to color match shirts you own and re-shopping your own closet before you head to the mall. I applied several of her suggestions before I started listing my clothes on Poshmark.*
Lastly, let’s be real, girlfriends. My most favorite piece of advice Ashley gives is at the very end: Go shopping! wahoo! You can join the conversation on the e-book by checking out the hashtag #7DayStyle on Twitter and Instagram :).
Discovering Your Style sells for $7.99, but if you buy it before March 12, 2013 (TOMORROW!) you will get a steal of a deal: only $4.99!
*Poshmark is an iPhone app to shop each other’s closets. If you sign up, use my code: HAIHN and we’ll both get a $5 credit. But first, download Ashley’s book!
FCC Note: I received Ashley’s book for free, in exchange for doing a review. These are my real opinions as she didn’t take the book back if I didn’t like it :). I received no other compensation for this post and no links herein are affiliate links.
