My last Stitch Fix fit great, but was a little bland. That was probably a good thing because otherwise I would have kept all five items for the second Fix in a row.
I miss this jean jacket every day. But it was $98 (the most expensive item in my Fix) and I just couldn’t justify it. I haven’t been able to find one like it since and I’m so bummed because now I know I need one!
Under that jean jacket I’m wearing an incrediblely comfortable maxi dress. I’d been hoping to get a maxi dress in one of my fixes. I would have absolutely kept it except that it was grey. Something about wearing a grey, comfy outfit made me feel like I was walking around in a sweat suit. I’m all about wearable fashion, but I couldn’t live with myself in a grey sweat suit.
The shirt I did keep was this super soft, mens cut dark navy plaid shirt. I would wear it several times a week if I could get away with it.
The pants I’m wearing also came in my fix. I really liked them too but I have so many black work pants it just seemed silly. My biggest comment to my stylist was that my fix needed color. I like to keep interesting items in my wardrobe and all grey/white/black/navy doesn’t fit that bill.
The last item in the box was this black and white tank. I have one split back tank from Stitch Fix that I really like, but it’s a moderate slit. This one was a bit too risque for me, even with a cami underneath. (Those pants are also the ones that came in the fix. I love that you can pair the items in the box together, as well as pair the items with your own closet.)
The Stylists that I’ve had are very receptive to feedback so I’m sure the next fix I get will have some color. I just hope there’s also a maxi dress inside!
