It’s time for another edition of posts I loved this week.
I was very intentional about the progress and investment I want to make on my blog this week. I found several Facebook pages to join just for bloggers or creative entrepreneurs and they have been so exciting! I also worked out four times this week. All in all, I didn’t have a ton of time to peruse the web, but the posts I did read were awesome. I am so impressed by how people use their space on the web. I am even more motivated to hang out here with you guys!
Let’s jump into five awesome links you should click this weekend!
This is the post that lists several facebook groups you should join now!
Helene gives some great tips on what to wear to a summer music festival. This post is so relevant as summer music festival season is about to be in full swing around these parts. (It’s almost time for Dave Matthews Band at the Gorge! One of the coolest concerts I’ve ever been to.)
Cat wrote an amazing post about how to network as an introvert. As a lawyer I’ve had to do a lot of networking. I am super uncomfortable and awkward in those situations and it takes a lot of focus for me to fake it till I make it. This post has great tips on how to survive a networking event. And yes, I do need a glass of wine, at a minimum, for something to hold in my hands.
Jess Connolly wrote this gorgeous post last month about the shooting in Charleston. I’ve read it a few times and think about it with some frequency.
On a less serious note, my friend Hillary runs a crochet business called The Crafty Hooker. This sweater is to die for!
J and I made financially responsible weekend plans, and even though it was hard to stick to them when the weather is going to be in the 90s, I am so glad we did.
