Surf the Web Saturday – v. 35

Debt Repayment

Hey everyone! How is your Saturday going? I’m so grateful it’s the weekend, and not just any weekend, Super Bowl weekend! As much as I wish my own team was playing tomorrow, I love watching the big game either way. So before you all spend your afternoon prepping yummy appetizers for the party you’ll be attending, let’s talk about some cool links I’ve found on the web this week!

As you guys know, I graduated from college in 2007 with about $5,000 on my credit cards, and then went straight to law school where I made basically 0 progress on paying them off, and things got worse as I lived on student loans. Next week I’ll be telling you how I paid off the brand new car I bought after law school graduation (that I never should have bought), 5 months early! Before that post is up, I have another resource for you to check out! I’d highly suggest that if you’re in school that you educate yourself on student credit cards and the questions you should be asking yourself before you open that account and start charging those responsible or irresponsible expenses!

As a new 30 year old, I related so much to Erin’s post about the 30 things she learned before 30.

Exercising can be hard when you feel like you don’t have a lot of time, or watching The Bachelor and One Tree Hill reruns sound like more fun. But May has shared an awesome list of workout tips for the procrastinator. I promise they’ll be easy to incorporate into your life!

I’m sort of a dud when it comes to Valentine’s Day. Confession: I don’t think it’s a real holiday and I don’t know why people get so worked up about it. But what I do like is LOVE. I am a huge fan of it and much prefer to celebrate it by a home cooked meal or a heart eyes emoji text here and there. That’s why I think these 42 journaling prompts on love are so great! Yay love!

Thanks so much for sharing my post! Always much much appreciated.
I agree about Valentine’s Day- don’t really care about it either. This year we are going on a wine tour with a bunch of friends- which is definitely my idea of a good time!
